This is a guest post by Evan Fischer. If you want to guest post on this blog, check out the guidelines here.

It seems that many people believe that half of all marriages end in divorce these days.

In truth, it is more like one in three.

What’s surprising is that even though these people think that the odds of their marriage ending in divorce are higher than they actually are, still most fail to sign a prenuptial agreement. And for couples that should know better (those entering a second or third marriage), the divorce rate actually is about 50%.

However, every couple that goes into a marriage with personal assets should consider the possibility of a prenup for the simple fact that it makes an already emotional transition much less tangled. Here are a few ways that having a prenup can ease the hardship of divorce.

Well here’s an interesting conversation I just had with my beautiful wife, Pam - it was around what she thought as cheating.

We were having a wine after we both got home from work and were chatting about the various behaviours of cheating in other countries.

I was indicating her home country of South Africa had a larger prevalence to males cheating on their partners and Pam suggested that was pretty much on par for all countries.

Anyway as we talked, she recalled a story I told her a year or so ago about a late night staff outing in the Brisbane Central Business District.

If you have yet to check out a recent guest blog post on 'Is Technology Destroying Relationships?', do go give it a read. It's been a popular post and I'd like to talk about the other side to it now.

    Technology Warning Before We Start

I’d like to start off by saying you should really only be looking into these sorts of probing ONLY if you have suspicions - doing otherwise suggests your relationships might have trust, honesty and communication challenges, in some regard.

I heard a recent radio segment the other day on a number of women who had to end their relationships, due to the discovery their boyfriends or partners were what they referred to as 'love rats'. The term was one I'd never heard however a love rat is the same as a 'bad boy'.
