The Thai Beach Party Guide 1

Oh Yeah! Thailand Rocks!

Thailand is a destination famous for two things:

  • breathtaking beaches
  • AWESOME parties!

If this is what you are looking for, you will find this magnificent country extraordinarily fun, so you should add it to your must-visit list as soon as possible.

There are so many parties and beaches that you simply cannot visit all of them, so reading a helpful guide before you head there is essential, if you do not want to miss the best things Thailand has to offer.

Beaches = Parties

You would find some form of entertainment or relaxation on each part of the Thai coastline, but a few continually make the top charts for their fun flair, and they should be on your top list of things to do in Thailand, no matter what.

Every single one of them is renowned for more than its natural beauty.

The parties organized there during the night are the little extra special.

Chaweng Beach

Let us start with Chaweng Beach on the island of Koh Samui.

Chaweng Beach once used to be famous for Rocky Bay beach parties, but they simply disappeared, so basically all you have left is, believe it or not, Oktoberfest.

With tons of beer, lederhosen, bratwurst and such, it is an amazing copy of Germany’s most famous festival.

The vicinity of Chaweng Beach, or technically all of Koh Samui, is voted the best place to settle when you are visiting Thailand, as you can easily travel to any other island from here, and it is quieter than other places.

Or you can stay and party hard, if you do not feel like wasting time on a boat.

It caters to both types of expats in Thailand.

Whether you are there for the summer, or there for a couple of years, your tropical life would be incomplete if you were traveling back and forth all the time.

Island hopping by boat would be the greatest thrill there is… the first five times.

Do yourself a favor and make it official, rent a place in paradise, and spend the rest of your divine vacation in the Gatsby state of mind.

Pattaya

And after the beer-rinsed Chaweng Beach – head to Pattaya.

It used to be the infamous red-light capital of Thailand, and despite the government’s best actions in trying to put a stop to this, prostitution will not simply pack up and leave.

Other than that, the clubs stay true to the New York rave scene of the 80s, wacky and tacky and fun.

Clubbers shine through with unique outfits and insane make-up – no matter what you wear, it will draw no attention, so why not go crazy yourself?

The streets are closed for traffic during the night, so the whole area becomes a huge party zone.

It is a great place to relax and be yourself.

Haad Rin

You can find the next phenomenal beach on Ko Phangan Island, Haad Rin.

Haad Rin is best known for the main attraction Thailand has today – Full Moon parties.

The name gives it away, these parties occur once every month on the night of the full moon, gathering up to 30.000 party-goers.

While looking for the stage that has your favorite type of music, grab some glow sticks, and be sure to have your face paint on fleek.

Blend in with the crowd and have fun!

Patong Beach

Last but not least is Patong Beach in the Phuket province.

Considering it is located in a sophisticated part of Thailand, this is a place where you can find different kinds of parties.

After your long day shopping and dining in the many fancy restaurants, you choose between a concrete bunker club or a regular bar.

Although it is different than other things Thailand has to offer, it is not boring at all, especially for the more grown-up, more sophisticated thrill-seeker.

  1. I’ve been to Pattaya once, at Koh Larn. This island is absolutely stunning with white sand and blue sea. it’s also has a night market called Pattaya Walking Street. I like the mood at that place too such a wonderful time for me, I’ll go back again.

    1. The movie is a bit stretched, but tourists in Thailand easily get into similar antics.
Hopefully when you do visit the country, you have a safer trip than the gang :D
