what is your important healthy relationship person

The most important person

I was chatting to a workmate last week about who they believe would be the most important person in a relationship.

They weren’t sure.

I’d love to hear your comments on this one, below, so here’s my own personal point of view.

who is most important
So who do you think is most important?

Who? Your Partner Is!

If you’re in a relationship, the whole reason for your being is ensuring your partner lives in your world with total comfort and safety.

Why them though?

They love you to their very core, without reservation.

– A partners’ love is exceptionally kind and significantly different from others.

The only kind of love where you are an integral part of them – read ‘oneness’.

They hide nothing from you.

– Honest and open transparency.

Well, that’s definitely where everyone’s partnership should be headed anyway.

Sure, when you start off, there’s likely to be gaps where we’re a little sensitive and maybe reluctant to share some of our histories.

That’s natural since there’s still doubts the other person is THE ONE.

Once you finally realize you’ve found your soulmate, what’s stopping you?

Do you share your goals in life and where you’d like the both of you to head in life?

Do you both have meaningful conversations between the two of you of each others’ wants and needs and goals?

They are (and will be) always there for you, whenever and whatever the challenge you might experience.

– When we’re single and “out and about”, we’re like a lone gunman/gunwoman.

We’ve got our walls up and a single person doing battle with everything external can often be quite a challenge.

Ever heard of the saying “two heads are better than one”?

Well, two people in togetherness are better than one acting in isolation.

They act in harmony, move through life on the same steady and mutually agreed on the path, and watch each others’ backs.

Total transparency between two people provides both with an incredible and unbreakable support foundation.

They see you as their completion – two individuals forming one.

– What’s really to say on this – PURE MAGIC!

  1. I found your thoughts quite interesting, although different from mine (and my partner's). We both believe in God first, self second and partner third. We both put ourselves first because we have both had realtionships and experiences that have been more give than take, and we have both come to the same conclusion that in order to be truly happy in a relationship, we have to be truly happy within ourselves.

That being said, we often both find that to please the other is to please oneself. I completely agree on the importance of openess, honesty and mututal trust.

    1. Oh my goodness, Barb. My apologies for missing your comments for almost 12 months. Sorry.

What are your thoughts on how a lack of the other person might well affect the stability of God and yourself though? Is it possible that without the right level of respect etc (for the other person) that these first two might falter?

Oh, I certainly respect your beliefs too – I’m really interested in your opinion and how that plays out in your partnership (which sounds like a wonderful one too)
